Anna Walsh / Biography

Irish born designer Anna Walsh just recently graduated with a first class honours degree from the National College Of Art And Design.
Studying Craft Design and specialising in Metals, Walsh has created contemporary quirky individual pieces of jewellery.
Walsh is a designer/maker who has created individual pieces fashioned primarily from aluminium. Her interest, however, reaches beyond jewellery, exploring the fusion of form and function; maze puzzles nestled in decorative pieces. It is this interest in metals, mathematics and puzzles which drive her unique works. Computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing have a big part to play in her work.
Walsh is enthusiastic to extend her skills and influences. She has recently started a 13 week fellowship with cad-man, where she hopes to broaden her horizons into the professional world of jewellery.
